I like the design of this system, it stays fixed it does not dangle when grill is moved. The bucket with aluminium liner(included with kit) slides in and locks in place to prevent it from sliding out of is cradle making a greasy mess. Being an enclosed system it prevents pets and rodents from accessing the grease contained in the bucket. Another benefit is when it rains water does not collect in the bucket with the grease. This grease catch system is well built and I like it better than the bucket that came with the grill. I had to make minor modifications to fit my grill as you can see from the pictures I posted. I recommend this product to everyone owning a pellet grill with the zinc bucket.
Item came quick, fit as designed. The Traeger cover fits right around it with no problem. I like the fact that if you forget to take the grease off after smoking you don’t have to worry about critters getting in the pot. I highly recommend it for the smokers it is designed for.
Easy to install, good fit, seals the grease trap quite nicely. Good quality metal plus like 10 foil inserts. Keeps the grease in and the rain and critters out. I call that a win
